1989 Ford Aerostar Van IASCA ’92 Sound World Champion. Automatic
I?m selling this for a friend who is the daughter of the owner who passed away. It was his dream car, and he put a lot of heart and soul, into building her. The car looks to have been right, and we went to the house where the Aunt lives to pick it up out of the garage. It was always of course garaged, and kept nice. Looks like he bought the car in 2009, for a good hunk, and then did the rest shown here from there… I have a folder of several receipts and install instructions for things that were installed in the car. The car was of course painted and has a nice interior which the pictures will show, the underside looks nice as well. From there The list starts out like this , a new chrome ididit steering tilt column, a new grant steering wheel and horn contact housing. A new Auto Gauge 3 3/4″ tack. A new summit front disk brake conversion kit. new auto lock 2 point retractable lap/seat belt kit. new summit front body sway bar kit. all new exhaust including, two new drag thrust mufflers. 2 new 5 multi leaf heavy duty rear springs, from tamraz’s. new speedo sending unit, from summit. new digital speedo from summit. new digital fuel gauge and sending unit from summit. new digital volt meter gauge from summit. new water temp gauge from summit. I have a receipt also that shows a bunch of the labor that was done to install most of the above, and looks like 80 hours for just some of it. there was of course 100’s of hours put into her, and then some. He also bought new wheels and tires and has Pirellis on the front and good years on the back. I also just was off the phone with the guy who helped build the car with the man that owed it, and he filled me in more. the trans is a 327 we believe out of a 67 Camaro. it also has a 400 trans that was completely gone thru, and rebuilt by a local shop that I also happen to know called fisher trans. they do great work, and do them complete and right, and have done several for me as well. The 327 ran good, so it was not totally rebuilt but just freshened up , a new rear main seal, new valve covers and seals, new fuel pump and seal, new plugs wires, cap ect were all put in,… he also installed a heater, in the car as it did not have one when bought. also a Elkhart shifter was installed on the floor. another think that was done was to move the battery to trunk. I have a receipt here for 2k in labor from the guy that helped. The battery was also moved from the front to the back, and a high end battery disconnect switch was installed. I guess any thing else just ask? also has power steering and power brakes..
